9 questions
What research use only means, who may order, what is supplied, how lots are tested, and how payment, shipping, returns and support work.
What does "research use only" mean?
It is the condition of sale on everything here: the material is supplied for laboratory research, and for no other use.
The statements that define it - what research use covers and what it excludes - are on the Legal page, and you acknowledge them before an order is placed.
Who may order?
Buyers must be at least 21. The other eligibility conditions - what the material may be acquired for, and what a buyer must be able to do with laboratory chemicals - are set out on the Legal page.
The site asks you to confirm them before an order is placed.
What is supplied, and in what form?
Products are supplied either as a lyophilised solid in a sealed glass vial or as a solution in a glass bottle; the form and the fill are stated on each product page.
How is each lot tested, and what is a certificate of analysis?
Before a lot ships, sample vials are drawn from it and sent to a laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. The laboratory tests the sample and issues a certificate of analysis: its own record of what was tested, by what method, and what was found.
Certificates are not yet published on this site.
Where does the compound data come from?
Each compound's formula, molecular weight, CAS number and PubChem identifiers are shown on its own page where the public record provides them. The property data is drawn from PubChem's record for that compound, which is referenced so you can check it at the source.
How do I pay?
The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout. Some are completed inside the checkout. Others ask you to send the payment yourself and quote a reference code; an order paid that way ships once the payment has been matched to its code.
Where do you ship?
To United States addresses only. The shipping options and their cost are shown at checkout; the statement that sets the shipping scope is on the Legal page.
What is your returns policy?
Returns are governed by two statements on the Legal page: one covering products that have been opened, and one covering products that arrive damaged. Read both before ordering.
How do I contact support?
Write to the support address shown in the footer of every page, and include your order number if you have one.
Questions about eligibility and the statements you are asked to acknowledge are answered on the Legal page.
