Privacy Policy

This policy covers trueadamchem.com and orders placed through it, operated by True Adam Research LLC ("we", "us").

This site is for adults aged 21 or over acquiring materials for qualified laboratory research. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

You give us:

• Account details — email address and a password, which is stored only as a hash and is never visible to us.

• Order details — name, shipping address, and the contents and value of your order.

• Attestations — the acknowledgements you accept, recorded with the exact wording shown to you, the version of that wording, the date and time, and the IP address and browser user-agent at the time you accepted. We keep these because the acknowledgements are the basis on which we are permitted to supply these materials, and a record we cannot produce is not a record.

• Anything you send us by email.

Collected automatically:

• Standard server log data — IP address, user-agent, pages requested, and timestamps.

• Cookies that keep you signed in, hold your cart, and record that you have passed the entry acknowledgement.

What we do not collect:

• Payment card numbers, bank details, or financial account credentials. Card payments, where offered, are taken by the payment processor named below, and card numbers never reach this site.

• Health information. We do not ask why you are acquiring a material and you should not tell us.

• We do not run advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or cross-site advertising pixels.

• To take, fulfill, and ship your order, and to contact you about it.

• To operate accounts and keep you signed in.

• To keep the record of acknowledgements described above, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

• To detect and prevent fraud and unauthorised access.

• To send service messages about your orders. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and every marketing message has an unsubscribe link.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We share only what a provider needs to do its job:

Payments by Cash App or Zelle are made outside this site, in those services. We store only the reference code, the amount, and the handle you quoted.

We also disclose information where the law requires it, to respond to a valid legal request, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business — in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.

Order records, including the acknowledgements attached to an order, are kept for seven years. These are the records that evidence the basis on which a sale was made, and we would rather hold them than be unable to produce one.

Account records are kept while the account is open and for 12 months after it is closed. Server logs are kept for 90 days. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed. Database access is restricted to the accounts that need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not hold card data, which removes the most valuable thing an attacker could take.

Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;

• correct anything inaccurate;

• delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep — order and acknowledgement records within the retention period in the section "How long we keep it" cannot be deleted on request;

• stop sending you marketing email.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute, along with the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them and, where applicable, the right to appeal a refusal. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on those grounds.

To make a request, email support@trueadamchem.com from the address on your account. We reply within 45 days and will tell you if we need longer. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and an authorised agent must provide proof of authorisation.

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to hold your cart, and to record that you have passed the entry acknowledgement. These are necessary for the site to work and there is no advertising or analytics cookie to decline. Blocking them in your browser will sign you out and empty your cart.

Pages here may link to external resources such as chemical databases or published literature. Their privacy practices are their own.

We may update this policy. The version number and effective date above change when we do, and we will tell you about material changes before they take effect.
